مقبرة "واح تى"
أحد كبار الموظفين بسقارة من عهد
الملك نفر اير كا رع من أواخر الأسرة الخامسة
ويعود عمرها إلى أكثر من 4400 عام،
جدت جدارن المقبرة تحمل العديد من النقوش الملونة
التى تحمل اسم زوجة صاحب المقبرة "ورت بتاح"،
والعديد من المناظر التى تصور صاحب المقبرة مع أمه "مريت مين"،
وعائلته من زوجته وأولاده، ومناظر الحفلة الموسيقية، وصناعة النبيذ،
وصناعة الفخار، ومناظر تقدمة القرابين، ومناظر إبحار المراكب،
وصناعة الأثاث الجنائزى، وصيد الطيور، وصناعة التماثيل،
وسحب التماثيل بالاضافة إلى نصوص من السيرة الذاتية لصاحب المقبرة. داخل المقبرة على 18 نيشة تضم 24 تمثالا كبيرا منحوتا فى الصخر وملونا
تصور صاحب المقبرة وعائلته،
أما الجزء السفلى من المقبرة فيضم 26 نيشة صغيرة
تحوى على 31 تمثالا منحوت فى الصخر أيضا لشخص
إما واقفا أو فى وضع الكاتب يرجح أنها لصاحب المقبرة وتماثيل لأفراد عائلته بالإضافة إلى العثور على العديد من الأوانى الفخارية.
كما تحتوى أرضية المقبرة على خمسة آبار دفن،
والتى تمكنت البعثة من تحديد أماكنهم حتى يتم بدء العمل فيها فيما بعد،
بالإضافة إلى بابين وهميين أحدهما يخص "واح تى" والآخر لأمه مريت مين.
المقبرة عبارة عن صالة مستطيلة تبلغ مساحتها 10م طول من الشمال للجنوب،
و3م عرض من الشرق للغرب، و3 م ارتفاع، وحجرة السرداب فى نهاية المقبره.
